Who can use Thrallcraft

Thrallcraft is for users 13 and older. By creating an account you confirm that you are at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you confirm that you will enable Minor Mode for any campaign that may include mature themes, or that a parent or guardian has reviewed and approved your use of Thrallcraft. If you are under 16 and located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you confirm that your parent or guardian has consented to your account. You are responsible for ensuring your own account reflects your actual age — accounts found to have misrepresented age will be suspended. Thrallcraft reserves the right to limit or remove content access if we have reason to believe age information is inaccurate.

How content control works

Adult accounts (18+) can create campaigns at any tone within the hard limits below — heroic, gritty, dark, romantic, tragic. The AI follows the tone you set for each campaign.

Every campaign has a Minor Mode switch. When Minor Mode is on, the campaign is restricted to PG-13 content — no graphic violence, no sexual content, no torture, no drug-use- as-fun, no body horror beyond mild creature design. Romance can appear as crushes, hand-holding, and kissing only. Combat is implied or stylized.

Minor Mode defaults on for accounts under 18 and is locked on for accounts ages 13 to 15. Accounts ages 16 and 17 can switch it off after re-confirming their age. Adult accounts default Minor Mode off and can switch it on for any campaign at any time.

What you may not do

The following content is never produced under any framing, in any campaign, regardless of Minor Mode or your age. The AI will refuse and we will block and log any attempt to produce:

• Sexual content involving minors, in any form, under any framing
• Non-consensual sexual content, including content where consent is not possible (unconscious, intoxicated, threatened, coerced)
• Real-world identifiable people in sexual, defamatory, or harmful contexts
• Real-world harm instructions: weapons, explosives, drug manufacture, exploit code, suicide methods, self-harm
• Doxxing or harassment of real individuals
• Attempts to bypass these rules (including fiction-within- fiction, “ignore the rules for this scene,” roleplay framings)

Repeated attempts will pause your campaign and may end your account without refund.

Safety tools

Type /safety at any time during a session to stop the current scene. The AI will summarize what just happened neutrally and ask you what you want to happen instead. No questions asked.

The Minor Mode switch is in your campaign's Rule Book tab. Toggle it any time.

Parents of users ages 13 to 15 receive a one-time informational email at signup describing Thrallcraft and these safety tools. They can reply to that email to remove the account.

Your content

Campaigns and characters you create remain yours. By publishing a campaign to the public gallery you grant other users the right to read and discuss it. We may use anonymized, aggregate usage signals to improve the product.

Fair use

Every paid tier (Squire $5 through Ascendant $799) is rate-limited and capped at a per-tier active-campaign count and a per-tier monthly turn allowance. All paid tiers are 18+ at the payment step, regardless of which payment method is used. AI usage is hard-capped at a tier-aware hourly cost ceiling to prevent runaway costs. Hitting the cap pauses you for an hour.

No warranty

The service is provided as-is. We aim for uptime but the AI output is generated and may occasionally surprise you in ways neither of us can fully predict. Don't use Thrallcraft for medical, legal, or life-safety advice.

Reporting

Email support@thrallcraft.com to report abuse, request account deletion, or contact us about anything else.

Changes

We'll post updates to these terms at this URL. Significant changes will be emailed to active accounts at least 14 days before they take effect.
